Afrobeats (S2)

This is a four  week program designed for those wanting to learn popular African-inspired dances. No partner necessary.

DAY OF THE WEEK: Thursdays

TIME: 5:00pm - 6:00pm

CLASSES START: Thursday, October 26th (First Class)

CLASSES END: Thursday, November 30th (Last Class)

INVESTMENT: $150 per person for the six week session

Afrobeats dance is an umbrella term used to describe the unique fusion of traditional African dance moves with strong West African and Southern African influences. The Afrobeats music as a genre is largely based on the music of Nigerian artist Fela Kuti.

Connect with the earthy rhythms of the African drum in this energetic dance class. The expert instructor will lead participants in a step-by-step progression to mastering this versatile dance genre.
